We are proud of our accomplishments over all these years, including our continued ability to be staffed 100 percent by dedicated volunteers. Our organization is maintaining our outreach to help those in a medical crisis obtain relevant medical information and to put them in contact with EDS specialist that can help with their care.
- Is to provide Ehlers-Danlos information, awareness, education, guidance and support for all those affected. Also for their families, the general public and those in the medical community.
- We strive to bring recognition, identification and a correct diagnosis for ALL those affected. They are guided towards knowledgeable (skilled) medical professionals, appropriate treatments, preventive management, interventions and monitoring.
- We advocate, support, assistance with medical crisis, networking and navigating the medical system. We help to foster funds for vital EDS research projects that could help improve the future and quality of life for the EDS patient. We are committed to this mission!
It is our goal to bring awareness, education and hope to those suffering with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). You are NOT alone; we’re here for you. Please use these resources to educate yourself, your family, friends and most importantly all the medical professionals in your life. The information on this website will give credence to the magnitude of the debilitating medical issues that those with EDS struggle with and face every single day. Chronic pain is a “REAL” manifestation of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. It is our HOPE to bring validation to those who have EDS. That there family, friends, general public and the medical community will gain an increased knowledge. Which leads to understanding and compassion towards those with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
EDS Today is a 501(c) 3 federal tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN: 91-2041609). Donations are 100% tax deductible and used to support our mission. An all-volunteer staff.
